My digital copy of this book is closer to 800 pages, half of which I suspect are appendices and further resources, but I don’t much know or care HOW long it is. It’s damn near perfect, if you ask me.

Kathy I was impressed with how clearly the author laid everything out. Easy to follow even if you're not a historian. I question some of her conclusions, but as far as I'm concerned that didn't take away from the tremendous work done here.

Melanie Stern I agree. It has been laid out very well, and regardless of whether or not you necessarily agree with the conclusions laid out, I think that all of the supporting research and documentation in this book is the best possible thing - at least you have the tools to draw your own educated conclusions.
