More warfare being mentioned. But the more I read the more I can feel the concerns JPII had for Poland, for Israel, and discrimination against the Jews. I've started to enjoy every page of the book as it takes me into the heart of my beloved Pope.

Kluger wrote a lot on the wars in he Eastern Europe and how they affected the local people, especially the Jews. I envied the friendship shared between Karol and Kluger, even after Karol was elected Pope.

I've just started reading this book. Even though I've just finished Chapter I, the story of friendship between Lolek and his friend Jerzy, the life of our beloved Lolek when he was still a kiddo was amazing. JPII has been my favourite Pope and model since my teenage years. And I hope I would be able to know even more about him through this book - a sharing of his best pal, the late Jerzy Kluger.
