I’m back into this after getting over my mad at whatshername. Ami the only one who forgets a heroine’s name all the time? Oh, Allegra. I knew it started with an A.

I’m taking a little break because I’m annoyed with Allegra.

This far into the book and the hero still has no idea what danger the heroine is in. Every time he brings it up, the heroine gets stubborn and refuses to talk about it. It’s probably a good thing I’d forgotten this about the book when I read it over a decade ago. She’s making me seriously 🙄🙄🙄 and I wake to shake some sense into her.
