Great book, and thank god for ecopy since I have to look up words, but more often the footnotes. I had no idea on how interested Julia was about politics PS checked out the ecopy from library.

A terrific book, and even more interesting are the political and other non-cooking topics. It gives folks a glimpse into the 1950's from a liberal point of view. Highly Recommended

I always enjoyed Juila's cookbooks and her cooking shows, but this series of letters from the 1950's between two women is remarkable. Very High recommend.
