RE the goat-yeeting scene- are we sure Christopher Paolini doesn't play Skyrim?

"You slew Glaedr. Now, by fate's design, you may use a part of him to help save an innocent. What could be more right than that?"

Much.

Not a huge fan of mind-control as a plot device. It deflates the story a bit when characters CAN'T be held accountable for their actions.

-Ah, there's our Paolini scenery descriptions right out of the gate.
-Gerard Doyle has given Murtagh an (Irish?) accent which makes him sound FAR friendlier than I otherwise would have imagined.
-Thorn is reminding me of a dog with separation anxiety. Unexpected, but interesting.
- LOVE that the scary red dragon has has a sense of humor. Looking forward to more of that
