One of the worst I’ve read this year. I mean, 48% of the way through, and nothing major happens. I can’t tell what the plot is, other than something like…she’s a wiergild and she’s supposed to be a hostage for a year and a day. Yeah, yeah, they’ve done her a wrong turn, but I can’t tell what it is or why it’s important. The main character is simultaneously boring and irritating. DNF
