I'm really excited to see how it all unfolds from here. <spoiler>I predict Montserrat and Tristan are going to sneakily complete the ritual for Montserrat's sister, against Abel's wishes, exactly the reverse of the original spell's situation. Abel finds out about this too late but just early enough to fuck up the spell for them, then... consequences!</spoiler>
