The disappearance scandal is only about a chapter. The author is more interested in Sister Aimee's live overall, not that well known episode from it.

Finally! The disappearance scandal!

I appreciate the fact checking on some of the more elaborate sermons Sister Aimee gave; including noting the receipt for loan of a camel.

I continue to not be a big fan of the author's style, but I do appreciate the granular details gone into.

I am a bit weirded out by how the author keeps talking about how attractive Aimee was. I also didn't expect to learn so much about the Solvation Army or Pentecostals.

A bit dry so far, but that may just be the narrator of the audiobook.
