i definitely think i'm coming around on this it's just that frequently it feels entirely adequate. not bad but just not that incredible either 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

honestly, not sure how i'm feeling on this one so far. on the other hand, it's by DFW so of course it's good (albeit in the way that, say, a movie by david fincher is "good"). i think i just need to give it a little more time, hopefully it'll be like infinite jest and start picking up in the back half
