This is exquisite! (Bliss, indeed.) Even more so than I remembered. I'm highlighting passages constantly, not only for the beauty of the language and descriptions, but for character insights so well wrought. It's no wonder Meredith Duran says this is her favorite historical romance. Duran is definitely a literary descendant of Cuevas/Ivory.

Slow going with this book, not because it's not good, just because I'm too busy writing! I'd rather be reading this though, it's a lot easier and more pleasant. ;)
