The criticisms of patriarchy through this alternate world was very enlightening, but it wasn't anything new. I felt that the manga itself tried to pose interesting questions, yet they never actually answered those questions. However, I rarely see these topics and questions being addressed in mangas, so I felt that this was quite important in its own way! Definitely a recommended read.

Disregard the biology of this concept for a second, and focus instead on the social criticisms that Sakai poses.
