omg the parallels are so well written; they’re like obvious but not obvious enough to where you feel confident about it. they leave you intrigued to see what hints you can catch and analyzing everything that seems even remotely significant. also the way Sethe’s relationship w/ Denver was written in relation to her own mother… so tragic but lovely. also Paul D’s revelation had me GAGGED
