More or less instant dislike to the protagonist ... And the book is actually written in 2010? Feels more like written in the '90s sometimes. Will give the book a second chance. Thanks to Jamie Fessenden. ....OK. Now I'm through. 3.5 stars actually. Maybe even 4 stars. Good plot! Good sidekicks. The protagonist is clearly less annoying over time. Even likable. Will read the series.
