There almost isn't a plot. Rather than the character being used to move a plot along, the story exists as one more tool to demonstrate who the character is, and secondary character also.

Sorry, Uncle...this is the same voltage level and with the same writing facility as Silence of the Lambs. Oh yeah. But not for the kiddies, and not for bedtime!

Hugely disquieting. Writing skill is massive. Reading in bites so as to take it in properly, and also because it's such scary stuff.

This man can REALLY write. I put it down as soon as I started because it was bedtime, and this is daytime reading material.
