I was legitimately excited to read this collection (Queer feminist horror? Sign me up!), but so far, it's not hitting the mark for me. It's sending me back to an undergrad creative writing workshop with that one student who centers every story around explicit sex because she thinks that's the only way to prove her work is literary/queer/feminist. Your mileage may vary - there's some lovely prose!
