lol you have as many currently reading as me, i am proud of you 😂

Hehehe distracted readers for the win 😂
Unless I am DEEPLY engrossed in a book I can't read fewer than like 3 at a time

Sometimes i give my side reads to finish a novel that i am super close to finish, but i really have settled into this state of reading 2 novels at the same time + a comic series + a manga series
And if i am sick and one of the novels is physical i drop it for now and read another kindle novel lol

I always have to be reading an audiobook and a physical book at all times, and I'm trying to start adding in more non fiction too.
But then when I get bored of whatever I'm reading sometimes I just pick up a new book at random 🙈

Lol my reads are never random honestly, which is a good thing but still you get surprises thrown your way, and you find yourself delaying a book, and some books when delayed it seems like they went to an early grave somehow, they are close you can pick them up again at anytime, but you aren't i literally right this second reading on my bed, behind my head is at least five open physical books that i have no intention of opening again anytime soon 😂😭

Oooh yes haha. I keep all my unfinished books by my TV so I have to think about them 😂 There's a stack where they just go there to die and then I have to restart when I finally get back to them.

@Sharon lately i have been thinking of starting big books that i dropped, Arabian nights, the illiad, the complete tales of Grimm brothers, i hope i stay sane and don't start them again anytime soon, but they are just so enticing, why big books are enticing for me 😭

They're SO enticing 😭 I was so convinced I was going to read Infinite Jest this year omg. But I AM reading War and Peace and keeping up with my book club so I've got that going for me at least.

i actually have a copy of war and peace, 2000 pages over 4 books, my friend borrowed it from me, she finished it, and she keeps asking me if i read it yet, and i never really picked it up

i can really track back big reads like that, and they are really significant, like nothing else matters this year, you successfully complete war and peace 🥳

Absolutely!!! And I'm about a quarter in so I am COMMITTED lol. But yes, I can say I read War and Peace in 2024~
