The first 16% is slow, but after that(H/h meet), the storyline is original, and really interesting. Have you read her books before, Nicole? This is my third book from this author, and she is sooooo talented:D
This was my first and so far only book I've read by her. I agree 100%...the first part was really slow, but the rest is amazing! I want to read another but this book was about the top level of brutal that I can take. I need to psych myself out and read another.
I actually started my first RLS book Land of the Beautiful Dead early this month and now I can't help digging into her books;) Oh man. Those beating scenes in Cottonwood are horrible! Land of the Beautiful Dead has less brutal scenes:/

Just let you know the beginning is slower than I have expected, and I like it much more once the H/h meet @16%. I think you will enjoy the originality of this book, Oana.
