Thus far, the employment chapter reads like a how to get a job manual. It's a bit boring, especially since I know these tips.

Ch. 8 has given me a new appreciation for how hard it can be for transgender people to transition. There are same many facets.

This social transition section is really very interesting though occasionally a bit sad.

The coming out chapter got better (unintentional pun), but it was still a bit of a slog.

So far, I'm not impressed with this coming out chapter. It's really vague. I think it would benefit from more stories, statistics, and concrete advice.

The bit on how gender identification develops was really interesting -- and a little scary.

The medical section is quite dense, but I really enjoyed the bit on intersex people. It was both informative and humanizing.

This is still a really good and informal book, but it's getting a touch overwhelming. There's just SO MUCH information. I may need to space out my reading of it.

I'm very excited to read this. It seems to have a wealth of information by actual transgender people. Yay!
