The resurrection of ye olde slang has been amusing in this series… razz, whoop-ass, had the hots for, bodacious… What a slightly distracting trip down memory lane. The anachronisms have me wondering: how old is this author!? However old they might be, the brain is plastic and, therefore, I think their writing is capable of incorporating updated slang to reflect the current century’s lexicon.
