Hawthorne better not try to use his alpha power to try to force only one of them to be with her. He could forbid two of them from accepting her as their mate, since they are technically still in his pack & he knows he can't control Cricket. That would be totally fucked up. Just because it's different & they don't understand it, doesn't make it wrong. They said mating is fate, so fate must know what it's doing!

I'm sorry, some elder wolf from another pack says that Cricket will have to choose between them! How the fuck is it any of her business! Or Hawthorne's for that matter! As long as the four of them are okay with it, it shouldn't matter what anyone else thinks! This is just a way to manufacturer drama & cause problems between the four of them!

I do like this, but it could be a lot shorter. It feels like their isn't much of a plot beyond her relationship with the guys. It seems like the author is dragging the story out just to sell more books. I'm pretty sure the events of the first 2-3 books could easily be condensed into one book without losing anything relevant.

I'm honestly shocked & impressed that the author got me to like Cass! After seeing him be such a dick, I was sure I was never going to like him but he tried so hard to cheer her up & make her smile. He's actually really sweet when he wants to be. Plus, after he opened up to her about his family & his feelings on mates, he just feels more real to me. It's almost like he's a different guy when it's just the 2 of them.

I'm enjoying the light fun vibe of this book but there's a lot of repetition of certain phrases that get mildly annoying, like "little witch" "wolfish smile" ect.

Cass is such a jealous dick. I can't understand why she still likes him when he's constantly being a moody prick & there are 2 other cute guys that like her, who are actually nice to her!
