Great Ellen Pao entry. It’s rare to have a non-Asian professional understand that it’s racist and stereotypical to describe Asians as inscrutable. Most DEI professionals work within the Black White racial paradigm. Why do Silicon Valley companies so often employ DEI executives who don’t understand Asian issues?

Her prick to productivity ratio is well intentioned. She acknowledged her self appointed role as judge and jury. I think this faulty KPI illustrates her privileged myopia. Jobs’ proclivity to take handicapped parking spots is ableist. Small Fry should lower his standing. Plus, she unevenly holds tech billionaires responsible for their personal lives. How can she give him a pass just because he’s brilliant?
