Replacement copy arrived last night! Double checked the print run and it looks ok.

So far I'd say this book is a synthesis of archaeological, linguistic and human genetic research. Not a tightly focused study and analysis such as David Anthony's The Horse, The Wheel and Language; more of a broad brush overview to the peopling of Europe.

Arrrrrrgh! Reached page 68 only to discover that in the next 15 pages of text, 8 are blank where text should be. Totally frustrating. I've ordered another copy but it will take a week before I receive it.
