Gotten into the medical ethics legal proceedings, really asking what a life is worth vs quality of life. Makes me think of the clinical trials started at the lab with the young candidates who feel like they have nothing to lose

This is such a hard read, some of these scenes are absolutely terrible. Too many heartbreaking stories, have needed to put this book down several times. Makes me think about what the disasters of the future have in store, and whether we have learned from the past to lead a better prepared future.
