“This ring is meant to be on your finger. You will marry me.”
She tugged on her arm, but he wouldn’t release her. Alarm set in. “How are you going to make me marry you? Force me?”
“It’s for your own good,” he said in a robotic-type voice, his face devoid of all expression.
She needed to come up with another plan, and fast. “Let’s sit down and talk—”
“I’m finished talking.” His low voice jerked her toward him.

He studied the tendon in her neck, thrilled he’d marked her. He met her gaze in the vanity mirror and increased his pumping. She grabbed his head from behind and panted. Her eyelids fluttered closed, and when she turned her face, he took her mouth in a searing kiss.
Their tongues tangled together in a wicked dance that made him lose his concentration and all thought.

He laid her on the bed, kissing her along the way. She didn’t respond until his mouth molded over hers and his tongue swept inside. She then joined in, kissing him hard and deep, curling her arms and legs around his body like a vine on a tree. He softened the kiss then, taking her arms and lifting them over her head and pressing her wrists on the mattress. She sobbed softly in his mouth.

She kept him locked in a protective embrace, barely stopping from letting him go and running far, far away."
