This book is such a let down. It's gotten so repetitive & stupidly melodramatic.

Cas telling them that they need to sleep with her too to stop them from acting all possessive without even asking her if that's what she wants, is so messed up. And Hollis telling them to leave so he can have his turn, again, without asking her if that's what she wants, makes me feel sick.

I can't believe she would sleep with Cas for the first time while the other 2 guys are LITERALLY outside waiting to talk to her! It seems like something she should have talked with all 3 of them about before moving forward, especially after they nearly killed each other over her just a few hours ago! It just feels disrespectful to not talk to them about it first & to make sure that it's something everyone is ok with!

There are so many things wrong with this situation that I can't even begin to find the words...

Emerson needs to shut up & Cricket should just tell everyone that she & the guys need some time ALONE to talk. Their ENTIRE pack doesn't need to know all of their personal business!

Hawthorne is the DUMBEST alpha ever! He didn't think it was important to WARN THE POWERFUL WITCH that her guys would try to KILL each other & that in the moment, she would enjoy it & therefore not try to stop it?? That seems like CRUCIAL information for her to have! He did everything he could to keep her in the dark & made sure she wasn't there when the elder arrived, even though she came to help HER & the GUYS!!!

Poor Rainer. His dad really is such a prick!

Hawthorne is seriously a bastard! Not letting anyone warn her about the pain or the fact that the guys will want to KILL each other the next time they see her is messed up. He is a terrible alpha!

This is exactly why Cricket should've been there when they met the elder! Please tell me someone warns her about what to expect!

It seems wrong for them to meet with the elder without Cricket, since it involves her just as much. Althea is right about there being too many secrets in the pack & Hawthorne doesn't have the right to keep secrets about their mate from them.
