I can’t keep going. Something about the writing style doesn’t seem to flow for me. The premise is also difficult to accept. Without social services and an official adoption, there is no way they’d get to keep the kid. I just couldn’t get past that. But also I had trouble getting into the story. Since I don’t have a lot of time to read, I’m not going to force myself to finish something I don’t like.
