This is soooo an imagining of what happened to Susan (from Narnia) after her siblings died if she grew old and had children. The main character is her granddaughter. The names and certain details have been changed to make it not a fan fic (as one must for legal purposes) but the winks at Narnia are STRONG.

Definitely picking up on some Narnia references here. Maybe some Secret Garden too. :)

At first I thought it was just a few Narnia references, and then I realized, oh wait, the grandmother IS Susan Pevensie with the serial numbers filed off. XD I realized this when the grandmother referenced chasing the white stag that, in Narnia LWW led the Pevensies back to the lamp post and home. Except, the white stag is this story's replacement for Aslan. I'm very curious to see where things go.
