Doing an intermediate update because I have a few thoughts:
(1) I really love the writing style of this author. She’s descriptive, intellectual, & gripping.
(2) I’m enjoying the backstory of this main character Opal … it’s taken some fun twists & turns.
(3) I hope that in the next 20% I get more backstory on this house … I don’t want to give spoilers but man I want to know HOW it really got here & why!
