Why is it that everytime I read any number of pages in this book I learn so much and my soul feels so refreshed. Piper is actually a genius. He cooked when he said “love is the pursuit of one’s own pleasure in the joy of the beloved” 😮💨

The chapter on money is so relevant. Piper writes like a lawyer but without all the legalese. For the love of money is the root of all evil. No one can serve two masters; and the teaching on 1 Timothy 6:6-9. So good!
