Reading as audiobook. This is very fun- so far it's basically David Mitchell's tale of the medieval english monarchs, punctuated by tangential musings on approaching history in general (not from an academic perspective). All of this is carried by his characteristic (and hilarious) dry perspicacity. NB it's particularly nice to be talked through the pre-conquest figures who everyone forgets.
