NEVER BACK DOWN NEVER WHAT?!? managed somehow to read 120 pages in one day between work. it is 3am. I will regret this in the morning. but I will finish this before my library loan expires if it's the last thing I do!!!!

okay I don't think I'm gonna finish this in a week before my library hold is over 😭 it's been a little bit slow but things just got REALLY interesting. this story is an unusual blend of genres. ugh. I might just have to go to barnes & noble to give myself more time lol

this is a very cold MC. very calculative and unemotional. which is sort of cool but also the lack of warmth makes it harder to care about him & what he's doing
