I have just started to learn how some of the Donnelly boys died. I. understand why no one likes the Donnelly's. What I don't understand is why they never get a far prosecution? The book says, Lewis was never sentenced, however, nor did he suffer any consequences for his offence. This was after he killed Michael Donnelly.

The Donnelley boy became very brutal while their father was gone. I think this will come and stab them in the back.

I have learned more about why people didn't like the Donnelly's when they first moved to Lucan. One reason was that their son had a club foot. People thought that if someone in your family had a club foot you were cursed.

So far the book has explained the Donnelly's journey to Lucan from Ireland.
