more similarities i think. robin encounters the real world in “prequel to the opium wars!” Which I felt like happened in the Poppy War with all the drug stuff going on idk.

why is it lowkey so similar plot wise to the poppy war #1 so far…I mean in a pretty superficial way…underdog studying at the most prestigious school around (study study study, I mean the emphasis on how much they study). With the school being, like, a sanitized microcosm of the whole world changing around them.
