I started reading it but I felt that Meghan Quinn is overdoing it with the characters’ mental banter. It’s a bit too much and I haven’t related to any of the MCs. Maggie was not someone I liked in Hattie’s story anyway so I had to DNF this one.

I don’t remember Maggie from Hattie’s story. I didn’t love her in Aubree’s story.

I think it’s weird how into Hayes she is. That’s your girl’s man…knock it off. As for the banter, as much as I love MQ books, it usually takes me a minute to adjust to them. Almost like the humor is forced? Usually just in the beginning for me.

It has picked up for me. I’m still enjoying it, and I like Brody enough. It’s cute. Very typical rom-com, one bed, brother’s best friend, fake dating situation here.
