I really appreciate Iris's progress with her shifting abilities and learning about the world around her along with the reader. I also love that her relationships are progressing in a positive way. Zuma is probably one of my favorite characters so far because he was able to get Iris out of her shell. However, that positivity might be ending soon with the clans meeting up. I'm wondering if Kenzo has something in store.

The scenes involving the plague were heavy. I appreciate Iris’s wittiness in coming up with a marriage proposal to get more allies from her mother’s clan. It is time for battle, can’t wait to read these last chapters.

I really appreciate Iris's development throughout this. She's realistic and shows compassion for those around her. Despite her fear it seems that she will honor her clan and those who have helped her along the way. I'm also predicting that she has feelings for Vas. Not sure if there will be a romantic subplot but I wouldn't be too mad about it. However, since a battle is brewing that probably won't be till the end.

The illustrations in the arc was a nice addition can't wait to see them in color. I also love the facts at the top of every chapter, a smart way to world-build. Iris the FMC, going from rags to riches due to her suddenly shifting into a Wyvern. At least she gets to escape a place she felt trapped in. Also, Kenzo the MMC who is a Ryu and is super skilled at shifting. So excited for more, enjoying this alot so far!
