This book was clearly going for whimsical and charming, but the situations just weren’t funny. The love interest was annoying with her baby-talk throughout the entire book, the main character was 2D and boring, his problems didn’t seem like real problems, or at least weren’t written in any convincing way. This book reads like someone who was never seventeen before 😂
