"Christianity is Stupid" is the best chapter in the book so far. The sub-section #54 "The Evidence of Evolution Points Away From Christianity" is the best and most eloquent sub-section so far. For a trained historian, Russell shines in articulating the improbable science behind atheistic neo-Darwinism more than he shined in the history sections!!!

Loaded with information. Russell's writing always seems to start off slow in the beginning of each subsection, but then he hits you with a whammy quote that makes up for it a paragraph or so down.

Neil Degrasse Tyson and the producers of the television show "Cosmos" are agenda-driven liars. I will spare my comments for a future blog post.

Russell appears to drop the ball in his "Christianity is a superstition section," a myth he refutes, but he picks it back up. This book's weakness is that it covers so much, so the time spent refuting each myth is short. But the footnotes are awesome. I also appreciate that he points out that Christians, in fact, do believe in superstitions when they embrace certain unbiblical ideas.

While Russell writes a like bored reporter or an academic, which he is, the information is interesting. There are tons of footnotes, which you should expect from an academic. Someone must have really given him help on his opening paragraph, because it is really good and draws you in. However, in the following the prose doesn't shine as much as it did on the first page.
