Rhys said that the night/day/dawn courts can't alter the path of the sun which is why they aren't eternally stuck in night in Velaris, but the seasonal high lords can keep them in eternal spring/winter/etc.

Which basically means the seasonal high lords are controlling the tilts of the earth axis and earth's orbit to keep them in eternal season???????
