I have been struggling through this book for months. I’ve really tried not to give up on it so this update is my public accountability attempt. What has kept me engaged are the stories of people connected to the oil sands industry. It’s also been interesting to really see how vital government support has been to the industry, and how it’s been impacted by geopolitics.
