I've lost counts at how many times I've wept while reading of the brutality within the concentration camps.

But to think of these people who so desperately longed for freedom, endured their suffering through dreams of returning home, finally achieved this freedom and knocked on that door only to discover that their homes and families are gone and never to come back... spirit-shattering

This book is ripping me open
