Although the language was hard to understand I noticed it was easier to understand when Romeo and Juliet were confessing love to each other. I'm not sure why but when normal conversation is having with all the old timey I have to read it multiple times but when it's about love I can read it very easily. This was an AH HA moment for me because I realized love is one thing people can all understand on paper.

I noticed that most of the men in the story seem to be really sexist or full of themselves besides Romeo, which makes me think that maybe Romeo was taught to be more respectful than the other jerks like Tybalt and Samson. This was an AH-HA moment for me.

I noticed that despite Romeo and Juliet's ages they act and speak and seem like adults despite still being teens and this confuses me because it doesn't seem like they got or had a childhood at all and I picture them as adults despite them not being that. This brings tough questions.

Shakespeare refers to dreams in this book as children of an idle brain, this bring tough questions for me because I have no idea what that means. Are children hypothetically making dreams or are people children in their dreams, what does he mean?

I was surprised that Juliet is only 14 years old when Romeo is around 18. I didn't realize the age gap and how young they are, this is an AH-HA moment because I realize that it was really rough for girls back then because usually they got married at a very young age and boys married really young girls and that's just how it was back then.
