STORY TYPE: My book is a comedy because of the books funny humor and jokes along the way "At 6:01 we arrive at the game but on my sprint to the gym I slip and the on the mud." that's an example of one of the funny scenes in the book.

4/22 predictions. The predictions i made of the book is that he is going to be a basketball star based off of the way he acts. "See, when i play ball im on fire. when i shoot i inspire" those make me think he's working to be a basket ball star.

TOPIC: Audience and Purpose. The book was made for teens my age, the book rhymes so easily you can tell it's like a poem. The words are in different fonts each time the book hits a rhyme. But in my opinion, the book was made for someone specifically a teen my age. The main character is almost 13 and he is in middle school. The characters talk about things that middle schoolers talk about.

Supporting Characters: The supporting character in my book is Jordan Bell, he's brought up but not a lot as Josh or "Filthy McNasty". JB or Joshes twin brother likes to play basketball as well, his favorite character is Micheal Jordan, but what he loves more then basketball is betting. "If its ninety degrees outside and the sky is cloudless, he will bet you that it's going to rain." pg. 15

VISUAL: When I read I visualize Filthy playing basketball. I read the words and see as his hair flies up when he jumps high from the ground getting higher and higher till the basketballs side finally hits the hoop. Entering the circle of the hoop the net swinging left to right. The fiberglass still trembling. "The gym is a LOUD, crowded circus. My stomach is a roller coaster." BOO YAH! his dad says being the loudest.

POV: My book is written in first-person. When Josh is playing basketball, he says "Dribbling at the top of the key, I'm moving and grooving popping and rocking. "why you bumping?" why you locking, man take this thing thumping. Be careful though, cause now I'm crunking.
