i just keep searching for a romantic fantasy that’s good. and the over saturation of shitty romantasy books has made it even harder. and they’re literally all the god damn same.

also this title means nothing like it’s so lame and formulaic but what does the dawn of onyx have to do with anything? onyx kingdom already exists and is established if anything it’s looking like the sunset of the onyx kingdom by the end.

and the swearing is something like “by the stones” and the mom character is like watch your language!!! but i swear there’s no explanation of what the fuck these stones are and why it’s taboo to say stone related stuff?? the lore is bad.

and also wow just remembered i wanted to complain the the male crush from childhood who is brothers bff is of course evil when he shows up again after a long ass time and then becomes a gross dude towards the end and completely different than before

i support fmc dating lazarus the evil dad antagonist. he’s mmc’s dad and a FULL FAE not a bitch like mmc

i’m going to cry it’s so bad. the magic she had was actually because she’s the real LAST FULL FAE who can kill the last full fae (king)
