I don't understand why people like the author of this book think people just haven't heard about Christianity yet

It's wild bc I was raised Methodist and I've never heard of any of these hymns

Very weird to be like "if you've been hurt by a man you might find it hard to trust gd" and not follow that up with "but keep in mind that gd is not a man" tbh
