Rees clearly read a lot of books and he quotes from most of them. My main irritation so far is the constant use of charisma/charismatic - yes, I know it's in the title, but need it be used 5 times a page?

I'm consistently baffled by the lack of editing in books. Even if the author didn't know how to use a thesaurus, what were the editors doing?

The editors let a lot go. The book was interesting, but I’m not keeping it!
