“I hope that in this year to come, you make mistakes. Because if you are making mistakes, then you are making new things, trying new things, learning, living, pushing yourself, changing yourself, changing your world. You’re doing things you’ve never done before, and more importantly you’re doing something“

Nudge volunteers to lead: I feel like I took this step with the PPC looking for spots to fill. The last time I needed help, I went directly to the people I thought of and asked them face-to-face this time I decided to reach out with the opportunity and let them volunteer themselves For these positions. I was very appreciative of the effort and initiative. They took upon themselves to serve our members.

Now that we’re into the collaborating section, it gets me thinking more and more about how useful a “speed dating“ environment could be for not only our team, but maybe even our staff as a whole. I hear it every day that longtime staff members are just now introducing themselves to each other because of an elevator ride. Imagine what knowing these people on a deeper level could do for each other.

Using members as contributors: using associates of past weeks, who have explored the area to weigh in on the need to know it sheets for the next seminars to come to add a layer of familiarity with people going through the same experiences.
