idk why I’m feeling annoyed by this book. somehow this author is just perfect and in her own words has “never failed at anything” and she ends every section saying how she hopes we’ll be inspired by her story. idk I’m just annoyed

so far this is not really well-written and none of the information and arguments are revolutionary (to be fair, I know a lot about this stuff bc I’ve studied and lived it). it’s cool to read about the experiences of a non-white immigrant neurodivergent woman, but idk whether I’ll finish this book

this is just an issue I tend to have with memoirs focused on the author’s experience with their disability, but what is with the generalization!!!
