Static vs. Dynamic: In this book Darren Shaw is the protagonist and he is in the category dynamic. Like when he joins the Cirques he goes through changes and he grows there. Darren's friend Steve is the opposite which means he is static. Steve never lets go of this grudge that he has which drives him crazy.
