Holy shit this is so cringey. FMC gets her period and it's more dramatic then crash landing on a planet in an escape pod?!??
All women are different, so are all of our periods. But this is so unbelievable and inaccurate it HAS to be written by a man!! There is no way this author has ever experienced a period. Ever. In their entire life. I'll bet fucking money. Hands down worst period I've read about. Wtf is this??

I don't have anything else to listen to during my lab work but these barely keep me entertained!! Work is already boring, I don't want to be bored by my books!!!! 😡 I hope this one is better 😅💀

Lol I'll do my best but I immediately quit after listening for a bit.She realizes she's going to get her period and less then a minute later it hits her. She then reflects about her periods on earth and how much it's going to suck on an alien planet because she can't get Advil. She's doing this reflection while screaming into her pillow, due to her cramps. Which hit her the second her period "started" and the cramps leave her screaming and crying, too bad she doesn't have Advil here! Now a bit of perspective, she only whimpered/groaned when she crash landed on the planet and split her head wide open.
She can feel her period "pooling" inside her. She can feel it "gushing" out as she worries what this alien dude is going to think.
Aaaannnddd that's where I took a break. I guess it's not thattttt bad but paired with the narrator's voice I just could not. Lol

this made me realize how much easier it is to skip these cringe scenes via ebook than via audiobook, would not appreciate listening to this while on my period 😣
