I picked up this audiobook for a couple of bucks during the last Audible sale and was looking forward to listening to it. Unfortunately the narrator is TERRIBLE. It's obvious an older woman and just sounds soooooo grandma-y for every single character. Even the children!!! Why would you pick this narrator when there is such a diverse character cast? Disappointed for sureeee

Honestly this book is so fucking tacky. Like absolutely zero class. The FMC is so braindead and gross. Her main qualities are wanting to fuck, wanting pretty pink things, wanting babies. It's a fucking joke? This is so embarrassing! I honestly hate this. Zero depth of character, zero feelings except rage. Seething

Man I know I just started this, but so far it's set up exactly like the first book and I'm bummed. It's another too-horny-to -live FMC. They are always written so obnoxiously. (Her MIL finds her huge monster dildo collection page 10. Like come on)

One part of me absolutely hates this. Like this book is fucking raging inducing. It's awful. THIS BITCH IS SUPPOSE TO BE IN HER FUCKING FORTIES. IS THIS A JOKE. She acts 22 most of the time!

The other, very small, tiny, minuscule, microscopic part of me, does want to continue. But holy shit I also kind of fucking hate it. Why do I do this to myself🤡💀

The FMC is so immature it's painful. Nia acts like a moody 13 year old, not 25? One of those characters who's supposed to act "tough" It's so awkward. It feels like a kid trying to write an adult character but not really understanding how people act irl and this is the result.

I don't mind tough characters at all, I like when a FMC can kick ass and control everything. But this is not it. Maybe it'll get better?

Putting this on pause ONLY because I'm listening to this with my partner and we keep getting distracted by other books

You know, I'm not sure why Claire gets to boss everyone around. Why is she even telling Nemon what he can and can't do. She's just some random human. I kinda hate how the first chick in the series is always the leader. She's so annoying I wouldn't listen to her. No wayyyyy I'm getting abducted by aliens then have some random ass B be in charge of me. Wtf. Thank you, no thank you.

Oh bummer, this narrator suckssss. Dude needs to try 80% less. Like holy shit, it is bad. BAD. He should never, ever, EVER voice a woman again. It's terrible. His male voices are so fucking cringey too. What even is this???? Why is a 60 year old man even trying to vioce a 20 yo girl????

I'm a little bummed Darkness's mate isn't going to be the little Gift cat woman they were trying to find at the end of the last book. I think that would have been a really strong couple. I can't really see Darkness ending up with a human woman. Seems counterproductive to his very established character 😒

Dude this FMC is so fucking dumb. I'm 0/4 for main characters in this series. Everyone is so stupid??? It's not even that they're aliens meeting/not understanding humans/misunderstandings. Everyone is just straight up fucking dumb. I quit

I spoke too soon as the female narrator immediately went to her whiny voice!!! It is so bad. How is this woman getting work? It is so, so fucking bad. I'm going to completely avoid all of Reagan West's works from here out. She infuriates me hahaha

I was less than impressed with the first audiobook so I was hesitant to start this (especially since the pregnancy plot is not my thing) but I decided to give this a shot since I had checked out both from the library. And I'm actually enjoying it! lol. The tones of the voice actors fit the characters much better and are nowhere near as annoying as in the first audiobook. Glad Im giving it a chance

The FMC in this is awful. It is non stop whining with her. She is so obnoxious, the narrator is not helping as she is affecting a whining tone with her as well. It's so fucking annoying. This woman created her own super successful business but God forbid she also be strong! Nope, total mess, can't ever have both! Honestly, that's the definition of sexism to me lmao.

Ok I'm sorry but she is a 48 year old woman about to get in a fist fight at a wedding? Aiden prevents her from leaping across a table? I'm sorry but that's embarrassing. I don't think it's badass or cool at all, it's ridiculous. And doesn't even make sense. Shes going to fight the evil SIL 🙄🙄🙄 ugh so dumb. It made me lose respect for Maggie.

Picked this up during a stuff your Kindle event over a year ago. Decided to pick it up and give it a chance to help organize my library. An iffy decision while in a reading slump lol

Saw that my library has the audiobook, so I thought I'd revisit + read the second. I remember really liking this, I hope I do again!

Damn this chick doesn't have a shred of self respect. Absolutely zero backbone. Deeply off putting. I mean yes, obviously he's awful. But she just keeps rolling over. Ewww. I hateeeeee ittttt. I really can't stand her character and I don't understand her. Everything is lacking 🙃🙃🙃🙃

I'm rereading this because my library picked up all the audiobooks so I thought I'd maybe finish the series. But frankly I'm shocked, SHOCKED I gave this 5 stars??? First chapter was so off putting, so full of body betrayal I'm surprised I continued this book?

The male narrator sounds like he's 65. Which doesn't even remotely fit with the vibe. Now I have to decide if I continue listening or nothing at work :(((

Ugh Saker "making biscuits" like a cat does while in his incubus form from the ear rubs Rain gives him, is one of the freaking cutest things ever. Such a sweetheart. I love him already!

Rereading via audiobook as prep to finish the series. I was able to get all three from the library at the same time!!! Looking forward to listening to all three straight through. I have been wanting to know what happens in this story

Work commute had a bunch of traffic but I considered it a win so I could listen to this longer! Really enjoying it so far. It's super fun
